Pickpick

One of the best prologues I've ever read, delightful prose throughout, a solid mystery that kept me guessing, set during a drought described so well, I got as close as I could to experiencing it. The author was fair with clues with one exception. Can't recommend this enough.

CarolynM Great review! I found this one completely convincing (even the sort-of love interest bit which often feels gratuitous to me) 7y
StephanieMarie Listening to this on audio right now! 7y

Tomigirl44 I enjoyed this on audio but plan on reading it (I know I missed a lot). But I liked it so well I couldn‘t resist buying Force of Nature as a hardcover new release and it didn‘t disappoint, either. 7y

Pickpick

A great book about 3 women in a small Australian country town in the grip of drought. There's pain, heartache and some tense moments but ultimately a happy ending. Well written and always interesting. #australianfiction #aussiefiction #ruralfiction
