pickThe multiple POV and occasional omniscient narrator works well for this story, that takes place in the span of a single day.
The immigration aspects and back stories were well done, but not quite enough to carry the story for someone likes me who who doesn‘t really like romance novels. A loose thumbs up for the high-quality and engaging storyline, instalove aside.
