DivaDiane I would love to take my mom‘s maiden name too. I‘ve always felt closer to my Irish heritage anyway (my mom‘s name is Fitzgerald). 6y

queerbookreader I would change my first name to Josephine which was my nana's name. And it also is a great genderfluid name! For days I'm feeling more femme I could be Josie and for days I'm feeling more masc I could be Jo! Can you tell I've thought about this a lot lmao 6y

I lost my #bulgakovbuddyread partner, so I lost my main motivation to power through this book. I‘ve fallen woefully behind the chapter-a-day goal. I‘m struggling with the writing, but it‘s just odd enough that I feel compelled to keep going, at least for now.

DGRachel @LauraBeth Oliver Ready is the translator on my Penguin Classics Deluxe Edition. I have not attempted the P&V edition. 6y

Failing at the #bulgakovbuddyread chapter a day goal because I‘m just not feeling this book. at. all. I‘m really not sure what to make of it, but I don‘t like the writing style. The cadence is weird. How are you doing @LauraBeth ?

JessNevertheless Having read this book back in October, I can say it does get better! I felt the writing style shifted in the second half of the book slightly and made it far more enjoyable. 6y

DGRachel @LauraBeth I‘m glad it‘s not just me! I‘ve seen several people say it picks up when we finally meet Margarita. The problem is, she doesn‘t show up until around page 212. 😳 That‘s a lot of slogging! 6y

LauraBeth @Redwritinghood Marvel Cave is nice. And Silver Dollar City is getting a new roller coaster this spring that is the world‘s fastest and tallest spinning coaster. I‘d actually make the trip to ride it. 😀 6y
