Our last stop in D.C. was the Renwick Gallery, right by our hotel. David Best‘s Temple was stunning, and if you have a chance to visit before Jan 5, 2020, you really should. I wish they had had a book. 😢 I didn‘t take pictures because it just felt wrong, but it was breathtaking. Of course, I couldn‘t leave the gift shop empty handed...#vacationshopping #bookhaul #daysix #shopthree

Thursday, @dsfisher and I started at the Freer/Sackler Galleries. As I mentioned earlier, we learned our lesson and had all our book purchases, except the tagged one shipped home. They should arrive Monday. 😊 After Freer/Sackler, we walked around the Sculpture Gardens (no books) and then went to the National Portrait Gallery, which has a phenomenal Votes for Women exhibit! #vacationshopping #bookhaul #daysix #shopone #shoptwo

#agameoffavorites #daysix I have read most of Lesley‘s books but only have physical copies of these two. Only reference to her bookish tastes is a quote in an interview mentioning growing up reading Jackie Collins. @ErinSueG @WhiskeyMistress

Day six - memoir. I found this - about a girl growing up in the heart of evangelical Christian America with her two adopted African American brothers - at the library book sale. Sounds like a great read. #readingwomenmonth #readingwomenchallenge #daysix

I spent a ridiculous amount of time on this. But it's pretty. Maybe I'll post an #outtake at some point of the mess I created to produce this. #lovemybooks But it's late Sunday night here in 🇦🇺 Just watched the penultimate #orphanblack Not ready for it to end. #mybebes #sestres

#augustphotochallenge #augustofpages #daysix #minimalistcovers This was a hard one, I tend to go for the amazing covers on books. I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but if it has an amazing cover it tends to catch your eye more. I have three of these James Herbert books that my father received from a subscription book club years ago, the only reason I have them because I would never have chosen them myself. The actual stories are ok.

TheSpinecrackersBookClub Well I always enjoy a book that has a story (except of course the story on the inside) so thumbs up for this post. 8y
