Day 5 of #booktober ! One of my favorite #debutbooks As a woman whose job revolves around emails, and chatting with my favorite coworkers in Hangouts, I loved this sweet office romance. Rainbow Rowell can do no wrong with me. I love her incredibly real characters, and how she takes average people and makes them rom-com starring worthy. I'm just obsessed with her!
#debutnovels for #booktober! The Martian and Ready Player One have become favorites of mine, and they the meaning of strong debut to me. RPO has that wonderful geeky nostalgia thing going for it and The Martian has an awesome mix of humor and thrill that can't be beat.

pickI enjoyed Carrie a lot more than I anticipated.
There was amazing build up, an action packed ending, and I really felt for Carrie.
Because this is fiction, I feel okay in thinking that certain people got their comeuppance. However a lot of people in this were innocent bystanders.
Apart from the supernatural element, this story resonates on a far too real level. This is what makes it so creepy!
