Book #12 of the year: “Circle of Gold” by Diana Palmer.
Yep, it‘s a harlequin romance 😂 I got several boxes of free books (again) and this was one! I have to say, skip this one for sure. It didn‘t even have gratuitous sex scenes 😩
My mamaw had a bunch of these and I used to love sneakily reading them as a pre-teen. It wasn‘t a good book but I loved the nostalgia that came with it.
My favorite in Palmer's Wyoming series. Maybe it's because I'm a vet, but I love that the main character has to overcome his battle wounds emotionally & physically. His sense of humor, stubbornness, & pride remind me of my Army buddies. In the end he redeems himself. A little corny like some Palmer novels, but I like some "corn". ??

This was re-reread for me! I love this book so much!!! Every time I read it, even though I know what is going to happen, it is still like the first time. I love the story, the characters, and every things about it!!! I so highly recommend this book!!!

I believe it was @TheSpineView who asked us to share a little beauty. My house and yard used to be a plant nursery but it was so overgrown that we still don‘t have it all cleared up. So I have no flowers (dad don‘t help mowing over my hydrangeas last week). But I do have 2 magnolia trees. Friday‘s storm took a bit of a toll but it‘s still pretty.
