Hmm, this one is touching upon some tough subjects, but I‘m liking it. It talks about infertility, which is surprising to me since it seems like a taboo subject. I‘m glad more people are talking about it. Thanks to those who venture out and talk about. It makes some of us feel like we aren‘t alone, the anomaly, the weirdos who can‘t do something that should be a piece of cake. 💜

I don‘t really know how I feel about novels written in verse yet. I‘m gonna give it a go. 😬 Wish me luck.

It was a different kind of graphic novel. Can it be called a graphic novel if it‘s a short story collection?🤷🏽‍♀️It felt a bit disjointed, but maybe that‘s because I‘ve never read a short story collection in this format. I liked the stories, but like any short story, they left me questioning what happened next.😔I want to know more! A good quick read that‘s deeper than the words let on.

This was a really unique story. I enjoyed it. It‘s a little bit of a thriller but mostly about family loyalty. Look forward to more from this author. #librarybook #readingwomenchallenge - mystery/thriller #diverseauthor #readwomen

I had a hard time starting this one but once I did, it went fast. It‘s an easy, quick read, really well developed characters. The plot between the two families is a little meh but the discussion around motherhood and adoption was really interesting, especially in the context of race. The writing of the characters is what pulled me in. #readwomen #bookclub #librarybook #diverseauthor

I just finished this and want to tell everyone about it. I highly recommend it. It‘s short - the audio was only 5 hours. It talks a lot about raising girls and perfectionism etc. also tips to overcome some of the stuff we‘ve been programmed to accept. It was simple things but also 🤯 and so relatable. #readwomen #diverseauthor #librarybook

I reached page 115 on Alias Grace, which means I have 449 pages to go. Woohoo... 😆

Now I‘m moving on to this one on this cold Sunday evening. It‘ll probably be my last read for the #24B4Monday #readathon. I‘m at the 12 hours and 52 minutes mark. Momo is taking a nap. 🐶💤 💤
