Each to their own but I could never. It begs some questions was this an airport impulse purchase?, are they not enjoying it ?, are they the dump it after you read it sort? Seriously it was sopping I don‘t know how they were able to turn the pages. Lots of readers at the pool makes my heart glad, kids too. 🥰

Ruthiella I loaned a paperback once to a work colleague who clearly read it poolside. It was WRECKED when he returned it. So I quietly trashed it and bought myself a new copy. 😂 9mo

LauraStamps Oscar is ADORABLE!! Chihuahuas are my favorite breed (as you can tell from my profile pic…lol!). I don‘t have a Chi at the moment. I have 4 young, energetic cats, who appear to be avid readers. There was a time when I would come downstairs in the morning and find 3-4 books knocked out of one of my bookshelves and scattered on the floor. Always different books. They seem to have eclectic taste. Lol!! How about Oscar? Is he a secret reader? 6mo
