Just finished listening to This Time Tomorrow. It has been in my mine for many years what it would be like to go back to the age if 15 or 16 having the knowledge I have as adult so this book intrigued me. I enjoyed it. Also I did not know Emma Straub is the daughter of Peter Straub another favorite author. His book Ghost Story is the best ghost story I've read.

A good, sink-into, partially estranged family story. I really liked the characters, the pacing, the writing. I will definitely be reading more this author.

TheBookgeekFrau @TheBookHippie So far, no snow in the forecast here. But then again, the forecast is a mere suggestion 😵‍💫😂 2mo

bookandbedandtea @TheBookgeekFrau Indeed. Layers are your friend! 2mo
TheBookgeekFrau @bookandbedandtea I learned that year 1!! Also, windbreaker/rain gear always in the car along with a hat, scarf, and gloves. I used to joke that every outing was like packing for an overnight stay; now it's just normal 😁 2mo

I loved this book ❤️. It's a beautiful story about fathers and daughters, love and loss, choices and fate. Oh, and it has time travel 🤔😁. It's lovely, and I poured through it. This was my #Doublespin for March @TheAromaofBooks

TheLudicReader I also loved this book so much! Number 1 book the year I read it. 3mo

1. Pretty much yes. Reminds me of one of my favorites lines in a Gregory Alan Isakov song….”If it weren‘t for second chances we‘d all be alone”.
2. The tagged book which I recently read.

A focused memoir written by an 18-year-old woman who grew up with an incarcerated parent. Most of the story takes place once he‘s been released. I wished for a little more fleshing out of the story around the specific topic of her dad teaching her to code and building Photo Patch, but it is a memoir, so it‘s technically not necessary. I‘ve honestly never thought about this subject before, so it was eye-opening in a lot of ways.
