Reginald Owen is my favorite #ScroogeOnScreen. I love this 1938 version. Ann Rutherford‘s Ghost of Christmas Past is my #FaveCarolCharacter although everyone is great is this version. Did you know that Dickens wrote FIVE Christmas books? https://www.nypl.org/blog/2014/12/18/charles-dickens-christmas-stories. I‘ll be reading the other four during the #ChristmasCarolBuddyRead.

My #FaveCarolCharacter and #FaveXmasGhost is probably the Ghost of Christmas past in the 2009 adaptation. I remember being fascinated by it when I watched the movie because it's tiny and cute😄😄and also because of its significance. I also like Scrooge even though he's a mean old man😂 The way he was frightened when Marley's ghost appeared gave me a good chuckle!!

Yes, I did meet Marley in the second episode! I don't know if I'd say he is my #FaveCarolCharacter, but he definitely left an impression. I love the line about him being more of gravy than of the grave. 😂 #ChristmasCarolBuddyRead @KVanRead

There are so many wonderful characters it is hard to pick a #favecarolcharacter but who doesn‘t love Tiny Tim? The one from Mr. Magoos Christmas Carol is a particular favorite. #christmascarolbuddyread
