My mom didn‘t know my grandmother had lost a baby Ann Marie between my dad and his sister Mariann. My grandmother was still mad at me years later for having the audacity not to have Marie as my middle name! 7mo

MatchlessMarie @ravenlee I admire the level of petty but it stinks that you were the target. My first name was actually sloppy seconds from my sister who was originally going to be named Amanda. My parents thought it was too popular at the time (1986) and held on to it 2 years later for me. I am going to credit the Boston song Amanda for that 😂 7mo

I think what makes us feel more feral is that our energy grid is so unstable it has a hard time handling extreme temperatures compared to the rest of the country. 7mo
