1. 📚 📺 Behind Her Eyes the book and the series on Netflix are great.
2. Caramel Apples - all kinds
3. Whenever the mood strikes really but I probably read more when the kid is asleep lol 🌙
4. These lovey Litsy events of course 😉 and the fact that Texas very briefly stops acting as an agent of Satan 🥵 (currently still waiting 😂)
5. My handle uses my middle name, Marie which I share with half the planet I‘m sure 🥱

ravenlee #5 😆 My paternal grandmother was very upset (for years) at my mother for naming me Anne Christine instead of Anne Marie. My mom didn‘t know my grandmother had lost a baby Ann Marie between my dad and his sister Mariann. My grandmother was still mad at me years later for having the audacity not to have Marie as my middle name! 7mo
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick Agent of Satan! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 7mo
MatchlessMarie @ravenlee I admire the level of petty but it stinks that you were the target. My first name was actually sloppy seconds from my sister who was originally going to be named Amanda. My parents thought it was too popular at the time (1986) and held on to it 2 years later for me. I am going to credit the Boston song Amanda for that 😂 7mo

MatchlessMarie @Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick We are not ok 🌵🤠🤣 7mo
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I help with group related inquires for our San Antonio hotel, and I feel like they've been telling me how hot it is for the last 10 months. It's been about a year since I've visited, so it was hot, but not Satan's Scrotum hot. 7mo
Catsandbooks Oof yeah that heat has been terrible! I'm in MS and it's been bad, but not as bad as you guys 🥵 7mo
MatchlessMarie @Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I think Arizona probably has us beat, but we still have highs in the 90s for the next several days. I think what makes us feel more feral is that our energy grid is so unstable it has a hard time handling extreme temperatures compared to the rest of the country. 7mo

I would use this book in my classroom to introduce colors and acceptance. The book starts out with two characters. One character is yellow and the other one is blue. At first, these two characters are only familiar with their colors. However, as the book progresses, new characters with new colors are introduced. The green character thinks he can only play with other green characters. But he soon learns that he can play with everyone.

Pickpick

This book uses color to coney meaning. Each page in the book shows a new color. It starts out with blue and yellow, and as the book goes on all the colors are introduced.

This book helps to send the message to children that everyone belongs! That there are not specific qualities that one must possess in order to fit into the world in which they live. It puts no parameters on what a child is capable of being and or becoming.

Pickpick

Within the first few pages of the story the illustrator uses only the colors blue and yellow to construct their illustrations referring to the only two “kinds“. As the book progresses the illustrations became more abstract in the use of varying lines, shapes, and colors indicating the importance of inclusion.

I need more books like this in my life.

The narrator was engaging & felt one with the content.

A boy joins the IT crowd at school & is afraid they‘ll find out his secret, he eats poop, not only eats it but loves it. Soon lessons are learned.

1 - don‘t be afraid of letting your inner light shine.

2 - you‘re not alone in your weirdness.

3 - bugs are more interesting than you think.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👇🏻

Twainy It‘s short, funny, informative, right up my alley. If you‘re an adult you might find the list at the end of the book interesting. The things that bugs do, who knew?! 1y
UwannaPublishme I must read this! 😁 1y
Reggie Sounds fascinating! Stacked! 1y
Twainy @Reggie @UwannaPublishme You two! 😁 🤗 this 15 minute audiobook was informative for a children‘s book. Then again, I‘m not a bug fan so learned something new there 😆♥️ Merry Christmas 🎄 1y
