This short-but-sweet story is about Evelyn and the new boy in her class who goes by Queen. Not everybody is nice to Queen, but he and Evelyn become fast friends. At under 100 pages, it leaves you wanting more but the focus on confidence, friendship, and being true to yourself is beautifully and subtly drawn. I picked this off my shelf for my next #habitica #modestreadingchallenge read. Absolutely loved this in high school, but don't think I've read it since. Which is a real shame considering a mutual love of this book is how I met my best friend!
I'm excited to see if the book is as good as I remember.
