robinb FOLLOW-UP REVIEW: Overall, I enjoyed this book which focused on the disappearance of some wealthy campers from their exclusive “glam camp) in the Sequoia National Park.
Felicity Harland, a former FBI agent now a chief investigator for crimes on national parks lands, joins forces with Hux, a park ranger and former SEAL, to travel deep into the park to unearth the truth behind the vanishings. I liked Felicity although at times I felt she seemed🔻 1mo

robinb a bit unsuited to the physical demands of her job. I actually liked Hux‘s character more because of his forthright manner, his expertise and his humor. The denouement was very much a surprise and maybe a bit convoluted as far as the reasoning behind the perpetrator was concerned. 3.5/5⭐️ (edited) 1mo

Okay #LMPBC #GroupT - Despite reading mysteries and thrillers off of my own shelves for the entire month, it will come as no surprise to find out I still have more 😂 Do any of these sound especially good or especially not-good? Book Swap | Medford, NJ (Bookstore)

I think we have our #Round19 #GroupT together so I‘m going to put these out as possibles for my book.

Sarah, I have a feeling you may have already read the Kearsley (I know you and I are both fans 😉). Also the Odden is slightly over the page limit at 416, but if you‘re like me, and it‘s a good book, I don‘t mind a few extra pages. 😉

TheAromaofBooks I have also read Killers of a Certain Age, but funny enough have NOT read that particular Kearsley yet!!! I'm fine with any of the options we have left, and I'll try to pull together some choices this weekend, too!! 6mo

robinb OK, since I don‘t really have a preference on these, I‘m going by average reviews on Goodreads(4.0) and Amazon (4.5) which points to this one.

My husband forgot to bring it with him when he came up to Canada to visit in early July (I‘m up here for the summer). He will bring it to me next week when he comes back up.
