I love this #WDNCW. @dabbe I don't care about the Menonite vendor who refused to sell me strawberries before the market opened because she didn't want to not have any before opening time. Meanwhile, I'm also a vendor and needed to be at my booth at opening time. So I bought strawberries at another place on the way home that were nicer. Some people really irk me. 😊

This YA is a fun read with steamy parts and a stupid cliffhanger!!! Must find the next book…..

My son who is quite the manga aficionado told me I had to read this series. He's right it's super cute and I totally can see why readers are drawn to these characters. I'll definitely read a few more volumes.

This is a sweet fantasy romance with monsters and other worlds with one clueless dude who is totally out of his element. As a result it‘s a light hearted romance with plenty of action.

It‘s a decent novel about what was a horrific situation of being abducted by pirates and sold into slavery. It‘s supposed to be well researched but individual situations like this are obviously not truly knowable and it‘s of course very speculative. It made me think about the value of possessions like jewelry and fine clothing if you are trapped in a situation that you may not want to be. How desperate times have been for some people.

When I travel I like to read something about where I‘m going, something that is not a travel guide. I enjoyed the authors writing style and context of her experiences as a sex worker for the prince of Brunei. It was good/ok.... but Probably not a book I would recommend to most.

Tragic story of women who worked for Gaddafi's government. I do not recommend this to people who don't like graphic depictions of violence. I learned a lot from this book. I realised reading this that I haven't read much about Libya before. Tough book about strong women.

Book 2 in a series and a continuation of my retelling of Alice in Wonderland stories. This one is fast paced and spicy! If those things don‘t appeal look elsewhere. I confess I run hot and cold with this author. When I like her I Love her! Unique spin on this classic fairytale.
