My mood is sad that weekends are too short & it‘s another busy week cumulating in a 2-day retreat meeting that I‘m not looking forward to at all, but maybe that will make the week go by more quickly. 😬

Participating in my first #hyggehour! I started this today and it‘s just a lovely story of helping spirits move on so they can reincarnate. It‘s an arc, so it‘s coming in Jan 2026. Maybe have something sweet on hand while you read!

It‘s another supersized #hyggehour because I have to get my book club book read by tomorrow. I‘m snacking on some cranberry apple bread that did not want to come out of the pan but is delicious anyway. These last few weeks have been incredibly over scheduled, and this coming week is no different. However Thanksgiving week is the week after so there is an end in sight. Then I am going to read all the books.

Tonight‘s #HyggeHour will be spent finishing the last third of Nancy Drew from last week for #NancyDrewBR & then with Encyclopedia Brown for #EBBR

I‘m settled in on the couch & my snack/dessert is a few leftover Reese‘s Halloween shapes & I‘m drinking cold apple cider. Mood is fine, a bit tired &never really excited for Monday but resigned to my fate. 😵‍💫😉😆

Starting tagged book whose cover matches* my (very old & ugly but very comfy) blanket. It's from Québec-based publisher La Peuplade, whose choices are always quite interesting. The story is set in the #Doubs département in France and my aim this year is to read books from there.

For tonight‘s #HyggeHour I‘m hanging out with Nancy Drew & crew for #NancyDrewBR This one sounds a little familiar with its New Orleans setting.

Drinking cold cider (‘tis the season 🍎 but it‘s still warm & humid so on ice) & a chocolate chunk Crumbl mini cookie for snack/dessert.🍪

Mood is the usual weekend end melancholy + mentally preparing for work including a Hilo overnight at the end of the week.😵‍💫

Enjoying the warm temps outside before the season cools down for good. Listening to either squirrels or birds scratching in a very tall tree next to me. Strawberry Acai Refresher by my side.
