Well, I‘m reading Six of Crows, so life is rough. I tried to switch to another, happier, series for coping, but I‘m not in the mood. (Why is there no “sad smile” emoji?)
Work is off for 3 weeks; however, it‘s unpaid so it‘s not that great. But the Dodgers won the first two games of their series against the Yankees and I did not expect it so that makes me happy. ⚾️ 😊
My #Chatterday Saturday unfortunately consists of catching up on work & focus group notes but I‘m doing it at the coffeeshop so it doesn‘t feel so depressing. I also am managing a few chapters of this book I am trying to finish for May.
I also have a ton of book reviews that I need to finish as well as my #HaikuADay & #5JoysFriday post, so I apologize in advance for all the upcoming posts.
We‘re on a little road trip. It‘s perhaps ill advised in light of the weather, but we were both getting kinda stir crazy. Am I reading in the car? Of course not. Just playing with my phone and hoping the traffic calms down soon. #chatterday
