Pickpick

Black, Their Regalia by Darcie Little Badger, our latest #litereads selection, is a dark fantasy story in a contemporary setting with a plague sweeping the land and a band kept in quarantine. I definitely loved this one, but I want to know what the rest of you think. Let me know in the comments. You can read my full review for this #indigenoushistorymonth pick in the link below.

Our new #litereads selection is After 'While by Cherie Dimaline, the fabulous Metis writer of the dystopian YA novel the Marrow Thieves. I hope everyone enjoys the story. Be sure to let us know your thoughts. You can find a link to the story in our full intro post.

Just a Walk | Jordan Wheeler

Pickpick

This is a super cute rhyming story perfect for anyone looking for a picture book featuring wacky adventures on a walk and great rhymes. I have seen the illustrators work before and don't enjoy his character designs much, but the scenery is beautiful to look at. Perfect for all ages, and suitable as well for anyone looking for #indigenousreads

Pickpick

An outstanding collection of short literary works and artworks created by #Indigenous women from across North America. Poetry, comics format, personal essays, inspiring quotes — there‘s all kinds of good stuff here in a visually appealing scrapbook-like format.
