Also I fished this last week and it was really interesting, I think I liked this one, premise was good and I am a sucker for heavy character driven books.

Enjoying the last bits of summer, did some planning for school outside and now that I‘m finished, time for my reward. It‘s been a hectic few weeks back at it, but I‘m hanging in there.

I read the first few books in university (just a few years ago 🤣🤣), and I finally decided I need my own copy. This is the book from the Canadian chain Chapters, and it has the first 20 stories included. Good bang for my buck.

On my second week of summer break and I remember Roxane Gay giving this one a good review. Had no idea what it was about, but I‘m really liking it and it‘s going fast - which is good cause I‘m five books behind on my reading challenge.

Augustdana @Erinreadsthebooks I enjoyed this one! Especially the last chapter it really picked up. Sometimes I was annoyed by the decisions she was making, but overall an unconventional vampire book. 8mo

I get a lot of reading done during the playoffs. I‘m counting on it this year because I‘m two books behind on my challenge. I like to watch games with the volume low so I don‘t get too distracted.

Hanging out with my favourite domesticated wolf today and finally getting into this book. Loved migrations so much and this one is very interesting so far!!

WanderingBookaneer Migrations was one of my favorite reads last year. This is a favorite read this year. I love how the author creates these messed up, yet somehow compelling female leads. 1y
Augustdana @WanderingBookaneer 💯💯yesss!!!! I loved how we found out little by little why the lead is the way she is in migrations, it definitely kept me turning the pages!! Can‘t wait to find out more in this book!! 1y
BarbaraBB I was so happy it‘s just as good as Migrations. I loved both so much 1y

Been chilling at my parents house a bunch this summer, and I finally thought maybe I should look at the books I left behind when I moved. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ these are mostly non fiction including university text books I was reluctant to get rid of because I paid so much for them…15 years ago. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I‘ve seen this book pop up a number of times this week, and I happened to search it at the library. Managed to get a skip the line hold for seven days. Otherwise it‘s a 14 week wait. Honestly. There are 24 copies and 10 people are waiting on each copy. I love that my local library has partnered with two others in the area.
