The only cyber Monday sale I‘ve participated in. I buy from Kobo once a year. These were all 5 bucks and under.

Happy Friday! Couldn‘t wait to get home, I hate getting notification that your book is available when there‘s nothing you can do about it !! I was also able to download it right from overdrive ON THE EREADER! No computer necessary! The future is here!!
I have never put a book on my TBR faster.
Happy Friday!! See you on Monday! I‘m busy🖤
OH MY GOD!! I understand the great book vs ereader debate, especially today...I‘m still never giving up my kobo. I updated and synched it and this happened 😩😩😩RIP. But also I‘m gonna finish this book.
Chapter after chapter of just...my jaw dropping. I caught myself saying WTF out loud more than once.
JIA WENT THERE! She saved the best for last, wonderful essay collection!!
Fall is in the air. I‘m gonna try my best to read a bunch. I‘ve got about seven days to read both these books. Magic for liars is up first because 20 people are waiting for it at the library 😮😮
When your current read mentions a book you have on your shelf and definitely haven‘t read yet. 🖤
This book is so cute!!! Started on my ereader, but I recommend a giant iPad screen, tons of beautiful photos for the literary traveler !! It combines my favourite things - history and reading!
Couldn‘t finish this book because I was so disturbed by Maggie‘s story. Had to return it to the library and move on.
Isn‘t that the saddest thing in the world, ma? A comma forced to be a period? 😭😭😭
AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
This book!!! 😭😭😭 I‘ve been reading a bit at a time and trying to just...let it wash over me. But now I‘ve got four days to read it...halfway through. Gotta get it done because Libby tells me 22 people are waiting for THIS ONE COPY.
15 essays from various writers of various backgrounds about their mothers. Revealing and heartbreaking. Recommend. One of my favs this year. And with this book i am one book ahead of my reading challenge !!
I‘m about 40 pages in, and it grabbed me from the first paragraph on.
This just in...a skip the line hold from the library??? I don‘t know how this happened but I‘ve got five days to read this apparently 400 page book
Finally picking this book up again, I‘ve had a very steady stream of library holds grace my ereader. Wanna get to at least two more books before school starts up in a few weeks. Wish me luck!
Alright, so I don‘t have any library books on the go. If I don‘t have a time restriction I‘m pretty bad at being disciplined. 🤞🤞have had this one on my TBR for a while.
I was planning on leaving the house today...maybe after I finish this. I think it‘s gonna be a quick one and it will put me back on track for my reading challenge.
I bought no less than three books yesterday plus a brand spanking new planner. I got this tote at a discount because I spent a bunch of money. How could I not?? I‘m most excited for the tagged book.
I haven‘t made too many plans for this month, the one thing I do want is to catch up on my reading challenge! Finished Suzanne (which was a quick but heartbreaking read), and I started this last night.
First day of summer for me! School finished yesterday and I‘m living it up. Almost done Suzanne, mostly because it‘s due in five days....and there goes my drink
Got notification from the library that this book was ready just as I was out the door to head home for the weekend.
Death straightened up. “He is here.” - live your life so that death actually reacts like this. OH SHIT! Also look at those cute illustrations!! Every chapter they‘re different.
#riotgrams day 20 books and flowers. Trying to read this and the collected schizophrenias. Wish me luck.
#riotgrams day 17 bookmarks. More than a little in love with London. My true love.
Have these two books on hold from the library. #riotgrams day 16 to be read.
Two very different books arrived from the library! I‘ve been eagerly anticipating both.
#riotgrams day 13 best dedication. Especially relevant in these scary times
Not a big romance reader, so I‘m gonna skip riot grams today, but that‘s alright cause a new book store opened in town last month and I finally visited. It‘s beside a coffee shop!! New and used books AND IT‘S BEAUTIFULLY CURATED!! So many good books! I got two!
#riotgrams day ten: retelling. It‘s like the jungle book but set in a cemetery. ...and that‘s how you sell a book. It was fantastic. One of my first Gaiman experiences !!
Went to a big book sale at an arena in Niagara Falls yesterday and I only bought three books ???? Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
In an ideal world this stack would be what I read this summer when schools out. Day four #riotgrams stacks
Day three #riotgrams picture book. I don‘t have many picture books, I left some of the big things behind when I moved. I did keep this book about a man who digs around New York City and documents what he finds.
#riotgrams day two: books and socks. It‘s a little warm out today, but I love my purposely mismatched socks from the Friday sock company! I‘d wear socks all summer if I could.
I often attempt this, let‘s see how far I get this year. Day one: #shelfie Here is my second shelf, I don‘t often take a picture because it‘s not as pretty as my rainbow shelf, it‘s got all the beige coloured books. 😬😬 #riotgrams
Happy world goth day. Here are a few books that give me a goth vibe deep in my black heart. 🖤🖤🖤
I‘ve been busy as of late, and now I‘m under a lot of pressure. I can do this. Happy Victoria Day long weekend to my fellow Canadians
You can say, “this is impossible, terrible.” Or you can say, “this is beautiful, wonderful.” You can imagine that you‘re in exile. Or you can imagine that you have more than one home.
Thus starts this memoir I‘ve been waiting a long time to read. Cross your fingers I can read this and normal people in two weeks before they go back to the library.
almost finished ghost wall (it‘s a short one), and this became available. 🎉🎉🎉
Very sad to hear of the passing of Wayson Choy. He came and talked to my English class after we read his book. He stayed after and signed all of our copies. During his talk, I remember him saying something along the lines of: This life we have is so sweet, anything else after is icing on the cake.
Love the detective story the author is recounting while researching Milicent. It really draws you in, and I feel like cheering when there is a breakthrough.
Went to my first literary festival today and had a great time!! Good discussion with some very smart women!
Quotes like this that make you stop and read them a few times...happened frequently in “Homes,” and I hope this young man continues to adjust to his life here in Canada. Great insight into what some of my learners have gone through, and what they are currently going through.
BIG LIBRARY READ! I‘m an ESL instructor and most of my learners are from Syria, so I‘m very interested to hear this young man‘s account.
