Wanted to put together a small show of support to the #blacklivesmatter movement. There are some #ownvoices from American writers and some Indigenous Australians. There are some non fiction texts and picture books. I also printed out a copy of the 2017 Uluru Statement from the Heart. Trying to get the kids to #educatethemselves on these issues. #librarydisplay #readingmatters
@julesG this is the set I did for work. Illinois is so full the book won‘t stand up. It‘s on a stand so to make the display look even I put all 3 on stands. I used trash copies of the twilight series.
Mine looks best when it catches the light as you walk past.
