Thanks to the bad influence of @BarbaraTheBibliophage (I'm naming names! 😂) I picked up this one and six others at the Kindle Store this morning. I would have bought more, but told my self I could only spend a maximum of $2.99 per selection.

Here are the rest:

1984-free and I need it for my reading challenges.
This is Just My Face
The Fact of A Body
The Bear and the Nightingale
Everybody Lies
In Farleigh Field

BarbaraTheBibliophage I‘m an enabler, I admit it. Because so many Littens have #litfluenced my book buying habits. Hope you enjoy the ones you chose! 6y
Hoopiefoot I was proud of myself for not buying any Kindle deals today.....and then I saw your post! I love this kind of book 6y
RebelReader @Hoppiefoot I so want to make this pilgrimage in the next few years so I read everything I can get my hands on about it. 😍 6y

RebelReader @BarbaraTheBibliophage I'm easily led astray when it comes to books. They are my drug of choice! 😉😉 6y
Asthecroweflies I‘m a super fan of The Bear and the Nightingale 6y
RebelReader @Asthecroweflies It's not my usual genre, but I thought it sounded good so I couldn't resist for $2.99! 😉 6y

Pickpick

This book fits in the writing instruction category, but as a reader I found it fascinating to learn how this author writes this particular type of scene. It's taken from workshops she gives to writers, so has a chatty approach. Very quick and enjoyable. Plus, there's a full list of every Outlander sex scene by book and page. In case you've wondered! 😜

This book is the latest in my #Litfluenced reads that have showed me the subtle racism in our society. I have started questioning my perceptions more. But even more, I am verbally questioning others and encouraging them to think too. #readiversely #diversity #readandthink

TheNextBook This book was really interesting. I enjoyed reading it and I liked that she explored the topic so thoroughly. I didnt agree with everything she did but I applaud that she even did it. The fact that an event similar to the events in this book actually happened, really pisses me off. 8y

Sydsavvy Looks like a must read 8y
Cinfhen Really can't wait to read this one 8y
I-read-and-eat Because of exactly what you described here I often feel the world would be a better place if everyone read more. Reading has made me aware of so many issues that I was not aware of because I am simply not in that situation. Reading opens your mind. 8y
BarbaraTheBibliophage This book is all kinds of great! I look forward to hearing what you think of it @Sydsavvy @Cinfhen. @TheNextBook Agreed - when books are so close to reality it makes the whole experience so much more emotional. @I-read-and-eat Oh does it! I have been so many places in books, and learned about cultures and character. I wouldn't trade it for the world! 8y
