I am posting one book per day from my extensive, and ever growing, TBR shelves. Some are old and some are new, some were gifts and some I don't remember why I bought them.

Day 58

Immense book set in three centuries and addressing climate change and what happens... but needed trigger warning...

82/150 A detailed and fascinating look at the ancient history of Mexico. American schools tend to be Eurocentric in teaching history, so much of this was new to me. Of course I knew about Cortez and Montezuma, the fall of the Aztec empire, but there is a rich history of empires rivaling anything in Europe of the same era. 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Most of my most anticipated books of 2023 come out in February! I mean these are the sequels I‘ve been waiting for! I started the #clunkster that is Chain of Thorns which came out yesterday but February is looking pretty brilliant. #serieslove2023

Research for a project (but I should be working).
