Littens, I have a friend in need. She‘s an elementary school librarian and her entire library (13,000 books) was just lost to mold, and school starts next week. If you‘re able, please consider sending a book or two from her wishlists (she said it‘s set up to send non-list books, too). Thank you!

Please make sure you select to ship to Elizabeth.

Ruthiella How do I access her address in Amazon? I don‘t see it. 9mo
ravenlee @Ruthiella the way it worked for me was after I put it in the cart and selected “this is a gift,” when it got to the shipping address selection page it showed the gift registry address as one of the options. But it didn‘t show it as an option before that page. Please let me know if that doesn‘t work! 9mo
Ruthiella @ravenlee Thanks! I will try again from my laptop today. I was probably having trouble because I was using my phone. Once Litsy gets the pictures back up, you should repost. I‘m sure more will want to help. 9mo
ravenlee @Ruthiella thank you, and I definitely will. I had trouble when I used the wish list yesterday, but it worked on my second try so 🤷🏻‍♀️ 9mo

@TheSpineView Thank you for the tag @sharread I haven‘t been on #Litsy much lately.
1) The tagged book was full of good advice in small doses (chapters).
(2) I usually ask for recommendations for my soon-to-be 7-year-old grandson. And just browse posts by other Littens for myself.

Tagging anyone who hasn‘t already been tagged. 🌹

TheSpineView Thanks for playing! 👍💜🤩📚 4y

I knit and pulled weeds to Tim Gunn, I believe he would say “make it work” so I will! Lol

Pickpick

I was looking for some fluff because I couldn‘t focus enough to follow a plot. This is fun, has very short chapters, easy to listen to, and it‘s NOT fluff. It‘s grounding & uplifting! I‘ve been a Tim Gunn fan since Project Runway started. He talks about his experiences as a teacher, but the lessons translate to real life. He‘s a master of constructive criticism, and never cruel. I‘m giving a very rare 4⭐️s, and plan to purchase a hard copy.

Hoopiefoot Oooh—I‘m happy to see this. I just picked this audiobook up on Hoopla! 4y
Hooked_on_books Tim Gunn is a treasure 4y
Wife @Hooked_on_books Agreed! Of all the celebrities that I admire, I think I‘d like to hang out with him. 🙂 4y

It‘s been a hectic first week of school, in my new position as head of the schoolwide ELA department (and teaching 4 periods of 10th grade English)! But so far so good. I hope to be back to my usual posting schedule as soon as possible — I miss my Littens!

jmtrivera I am also teaching 10th grade English (special ed). It's a new world for me! I am so impressed at you juggling so many things! 5y
Lindy Best wishes! 💐 5y
EmilyM I, too, teach 10th grade English and just became chair of the English department! Trying not to feel overwhelmed... 5y

Scochrane26 You all are awesome & I‘m sure great teachers. I had the hardest English teachers in my school all 4 yrs but still remember them fondly. 5y
LibrarianRyan There need to be a Boeing emoji. You teachers rock. 5y
laur89 I would love if you could share some of the books you‘re using for curriculum! I‘m teaching 9-12th grade special ed. English... plus a few other classes. My schedule is FULL. 😅 5y
