Thank you @TheSpineView for creating this play~tag~share card.

1- I always believed that Sign Language should be taught to all students as a second language. It could be incredibly useful in life.

2- All main characters in Never by Jessa Hastings needed to learn...more than a few things.

TheSpineView ASL would be an incredible asset. Thanks for playing 2mo

Story is good. & like I've noted, Neverland is fascinating. Loved little, Rune!

Main 2 problems, 1: Daphne's excuses for the inexcusable behavior by her two men. & 2: Peter Pan!

Jamison is OK if you accept the “pirate“ stereotype. Peter Pan didn't have to be perfect, yet somewhat likable would have been nice.

I didn't want Daphne with either Jamison or Peter, & I didn't care for the wrap up... except for that last trip to the baggage check-in.

AnnCrystal Reading Tip: I have the trade-paperback version. The text seemed awfully small and crunched together, which made finding the reference marks (shown in photo) difficult. While I was only unable to find a handful, this all was a bit tedious.

I suggest searching to learn if a large text version is available, or an audiobook version.

This has become disturbing in many ways.

I've mostly been vexed by, dare I say, Peter Pan! I'm assuming that this author has a deep rooted hatred for this character? Sorry!

Usually, when a book unsettles me I dump it in the donation pile and say adios.

Why am I still reading this? Because I love Neverland and Hastings has done some interesting storytelling with Neverland.

Only midway into chapter 8 (page 145).

Perhaps it will become...better.

AnnCrystal Perhaps I should have quit this on page 7 (photograph above). Tan = Dirty? That didn't even seem in line with Daphne's character, giving a description from a racist prospective. 5mo

When I was little, before I could even talk, I had a quest of visiting the sky worlds one day. When I was a little older, I even had a plan on how I was going to achieve this...simply hike up a hill, wait for the clouds to come kiss the top, and step upon them. Easy.

Imagine my shock when science tried to explain to me that this was not a possibility 🤨😂. I'm still in the belief that sky worlds are just places science hasn't found yet 🧐🤔...

AnnCrystal Once, someone told me that I should visit South America if I wanted to visit sky cities. They exist there, they told me. I'm still not sure if this person had misunderstood me, or was playfully teasing me 😂 (I did research these South American Sky Cities. Beautiful places, not what I was talking about, yet nonetheless beautiful). (edited) 5mo
AnnCrystal P.S. I believe these places in South America are called, Sky Islands, not Sky Cities...which my country (the United States) also has some Sky Islands. (edited) 5mo

I guess, when the first few pages of a book inspires a night full of magnificent dreams...it must mean the story isn't just good, it's magic ✨ 🪄🧚‍♀️💝.
