Thank you @Eggs for creating this fun play-card and for the tag 😉📚💝.

#WondrousWednesday

1- The Mud Pony by Caron Lee Cohen. To this day, it remains a favorite.

2- I have a strange connection with Bruce Wayne. I don't know why, I just understand his character. I would have said Batman in the past, but it is Bruce Wayne's Batman that I understand.

👇

AnnCrystal Of course, right now, Batman has become impossible for me...due to reality being so vary Gotham-like.

3- The Half King by Melissa Landers. five🌟. This book was surprising. I began it believing it was going to be a Beauty & The Beast infused love story...it was something else entirely. A storyline of a woman finding her power in a male controlled world.

Thank you @Eggs for creating this fun play-card.

1- I usually have about 10-15 minutes during per day to read. Then I normally read about 30 minutes to two hours (give or take) before bed each night. Roughly around, 25-65 pages per day.

2 - Normally, I won't finish a book that gives signs of being a disappointment. However, I recently read two books that I really should have quit reading. 👇

AnnCrystal Twisted Love by Ana Huang and Never by Jessa Hastings.

3 - Mud Pony: A Traditional Skidi Pawnee Tale by Caron Lee Cohen.

Pickpick

This was an important book for me as a child. One of the few books with a “Native American“ storyline, and my childhood self understood the rarity.

While not from my ancestral tribes, this was a story from my ancestral world. I loved this story and would spend untold hours studying the illustrations.

Just reread this, and the story is still as profound to me today as it had been all those many years ago. I've fallen in love all over again. 👇

AnnCrystal The following is unrelated to this book, yet equally aligned with my childhood obsession of horses because of this book.

Was raised to know that there was a breed of horse “already here“ in the Americas. My mom told me this as a little girl, and I continued to believe even when I later read otherwise. 👇

AnnCrystal Now articles about this fact are being reported, about the survival of the original horse breed from before these lands were known as the Americas.

While I love all breeds of horses 🐴💝🐎, this is just absolutely fantastically epic!

Thank you for tagging me @dabbe.

The Toynbee Convector by Ray Bradbury. I never, actually, read the short story...I watched it as one of the episodes on his TV series, The Ray Bradbury Theater. The story's message was intriguing.

Mud Pony: A Traditional Skidi Pawnee Tale by Caron Lee Cohen. A kids book, yet has a short story feel.

Any of the stories from, Moonshot, indigenous comics collection Vol. 2 (only one I have been able to acquire).👇

AnnCrystal P.S. I just reread number 2 & 3 and will be posting reviews from a refreshed perspective once I am able 😉. 14mo
