This #NotInTheDatabase #Audible is fantastic; best Non-Fiction I‘ve heard all year! Using several anecdotal interviews, Robbins discusses what we can do to feel a sense of control in our lives. She explains how we keep ourselves in a constant state of anxiety by not dealing with the triggers in our lives that sucked us into our bad habits including our negative thought patterns, freezing at opportunity and becoming complacent chameleons.

I received this lovely devotional as a gift. It is a beautiful leather-bound journal. The inner pages include prompts for you to write what is on your heart each day, what you are grateful for, and a Scripture for you to write out and meditate on. Really enjoying it!

MarriedtoMrT @Christy2318 That‘s a different book by the same author but she‘s a big Austen aficionado so this one has P&P undertones, too. This book wasn‘t in the database yet. 7y

MarriedtoMrT @Chachic It has some heavy backstory but I don‘t like angst and I didn‘t think it was overly so. Both characters have baggage and are prickly in their own right but they‘re also in recovery from the baggage, not in the midst of it, so it‘s part of who they are but not directly affecting their current life. If that makes sense. 7y
