1. When I was looking through my list, I realized that almost all of my 4* & 5* reads this year have been rereads! I've been on a total rereading binge this year. However, the tagged book was an unexpected delight.
2. I don't usually keep track of what is coming out - I tend to be surprised when books appear!

Congrats on your milestone @squirrelbrain & thank you so much for having this #nutsaboutbooks giveaway!!!

wanderinglynn I‘ve been rereading a lot of faves too. 4y
squirrelbrain I loved A Man called Ove too when I read it last year! Thanks for playing along! 4y
TheAromaofBooks @wanderinglynn - Part of it is that rereads tend to be comfort reads for me - when I'm feeling stressed or busy, that's what I tend to gravitate towards... and life has been a bit stressful and busy this spring! 😂 4y
wanderinglynn That‘s exactly why I reread faves too. In fact, I just reread Ove too. Love that story. 4y

Congrats to a lovely Litsy lady ❤️❤️
Sorry last minute it‘s hard to choose! I‘m going for the tagged book because Penman new books are so rare, always big books, a great read and looking at my shelves this morning I wished I was reading again for the first time.
I‘m looking forward to the new Karin Slaughter on Tuesday 😁😁
#nutsaboutbooks

squirrelbrain Thanks for playing Trish! 😘 The Penman looks very involved - although I‘ve never read any of hers.... is there one I should start with? 4y
TrishB The tagged one and this one are stand alones. The others are two sets really so start with either Here Be Dragons or When Christ and his Saints Slept. They are long and very historically detailed. But to me the best historical fiction 😁 4y

Congrats on your milestones, Helen, and thanks for the giveaway!

1. The tagged is my favorite of the year. It spoke to me so deeply and showed me the experiences I was having especially a few years ago were likely inevitable. I felt so seen.

2. I loved Yaa Gyasi‘s Homegoing and can‘t wait to read her next book Transcendent Kingdom. I hope the pub date doesn‘t get bumped again.

#nutsaboutbooks

squirrelbrain Thanks for playing Holly! That NF sounds very interesting and I too loved Homegoing.... 4y
squirrelbrain Just to let you know I sent you a birthday card and a (separate) parcel from Book Depository, which might turn up soonish - just so you know, in case you get a random parcel! 😘 4y
Hooked_on_books @squirrelbrain Oh thank you, Helen! That‘s so nice of you! I‘ll definitely post when they arrive. 🤗 4y

1) My favorite read so far is Incendiary because it is novel that starts in the middle of a losing battle, and a young woman decides to change the tide of the battle by using her powers of memory thievery, and knowledge of the tyrant king's court to infilitrate and defeat the tyrant king.

2) I am looking forward to reading is Joe Hill's Hill House Comic series.

squirrelbrain Thanks for playing @phantomx - Incendiary sounds very intense! 4y

Congrats Helen on your milestone & Litsyversary!
🎉👏🏻🥳💜🙌🏻

1. I‘ve reread a lot of old faves. So of the new books I‘ve read, the tagged so far. It‘s whimsical, & enchanting and speaks of hope & acceptance.
2. A Bad Day for Sunshine by Darynda Jones. It came out in April, but I‘ve waited to read it because I‘ve been rather stressed & crazed and I want to be in a good place when I read it.

squirrelbrain Thanks for playing Lynn! I‘ve heard so many good things about Cerulean..... How are you getting on there? Is quarantine nearly over? 😘 4y
wanderinglynn @squirrelbrain loved Cerulean. I highly recommend it. 5 more days. I‘m out next Friday. 😘 4y
squirrelbrain Not long now then! Have you figured out where your nearest bookshop is?! 🤣 4y

2. Looking forward to: New Emma Donoghue

Just a reminder that you still have time to play if you want to - I‘ll be drawing the winner on Monday morning! This is for reaching 100,000 Litfluence and my 3 yr Litsyversary.

So to say thank you for being such wonderful friends I‘m going to send out a bookish parcel to one lucky Litten. Just answer the two questions; as clearly my TBR isn‘t big enough and I need to add more books!

Use the hashtag #nutsaboutbooks and tag me in. Open to all.

wanderinglynn Congrats on your milestone! 🎉 4y
