Thanks, #TeamDracula, for bumping this one up my TBR! I‘ve wanted to read it for a while! And it‘s certainly fast-paced with an #Obnoxious villain who is #Missing more of a backstory to explain his brand of evil! There are a few loose ends and implausible leaps that stopped me from really loving this. #AugustABC #AyUpAugust

At last year‘s Cheltenham Literature Festival, one of the events I attended was a discussion entitled Heathcliff vs Darcy - Who‘s the Biggest Sh*t? After the cases for both sides had been presented, an audience vote concluded that Heathcliff was by far the biggest sh*t of the two, so I reckon that makes him #Obnoxious.

And, anyway, who doesn‘t want a picture of Tom Hardy (as Heathcliff) in the morning?*

Dotsy Lamb and her friend Lettie are on a group tour of Italy when an obnoxious woman, travelling with her two younger sisters, is murdered in her Florence hotel room. They team up with Marco Quattrocchi, the captain in charge of the investigation, to solve the crime.

Comes out of her mouth every time someone crosses the road in front of the car or drives the wrong way down a one way street because they are so enamored of the city‘s beauty and not watching where they are going. :) 5y
