The Two Princesses of Bamarre | Gail Carson Levine

My Saturday reads. I'm trying to get back into reading and reach my Goodreads goal of 200 books. I'm currently at 12/200. Will I reach this goal? Who knows, but I plan to try.

This volume was a little more serious than the previous ones. It had far more drama, but I think it was necessary for the tone of the rest of the series. And the bonus story at the end was adorable, so I'm hoping to see more of that in the next volumes.

Finished this one a little over a week ago and forgot to post. It was another cute addition to the series and I loved getting some backstory for July, but it was a little on the boring side at times.

Pickpick

I got so impatient after the last volume ended basically in a cliffhanger that I went ahead and bought the next volume because I had to know what happened next. This one was just as cute as the first one. A lot of things were introduced in this volume, and hopefully, they will be touched upon more in later volumes. There were a few moments that made the pacing a little choppy, but nothing horrible.
