This was a great conclusion to the book installments of this series. It surprised me how much darker this was than the other books and even the series. I loved the amount of #Irish #folklore in this and even the tie in to Chicago‘s St Patty‘s celebrations. I wish there were more in their series but I‘m really happy with how this ended.

This book is a tribute to booksellers and librarians as a former bookseller I enjoyed it, but I am not sure how people not in the field will appreciate it. It did feel a bit repetitive at times and there were lots of good things said about James Patterson, which although deserved, felt a tad self serving. I most enjoyed the stories about the interactions with customers or clients. Still it was a fun, easy read. 3.5/5 stars.

Mpcacher ...Another favorite was the discussion about the issues of book banning and the scary trends in that area. Although there were some humorous stories, given my own experiences, I expected more. 1mo
DogMomIrene I felt the same way, especially about all the tributes to Patterson. Would have been touching if he wasn‘t the author. Found his involvement off putting. 1mo
Mpcacher @DogMomIrene Agreed. It felt a little weird, even if he does do great stuff. 1mo

I just started reading the next installment in the Miss Zukas series … my forty-second birthday is tomorrow 🤯

Isn‘t it crazy how those coincidences happen??

As a librarian, and book nerd, I have to admit I was curious about this one. I‘m actually quite enjoying it. It‘s a little dose of much needed book joy 🥰
