It's taken me too long to read this but it's good. I'm not sure where I'll end up or what makes it #scifi (as classified by the library) but it's a great read. #currentlyreading #readinggoals2017
This book is heartbreakingly beautiful. One of the best books I've ever read. I devoured it and loved it and need the world to read it. #readinggoals2017 #IAmAReader #reasonstoread
I think every woman has met, been, made friends with, or been terrorized by people who are like the characters in In a Dark, Dark Wood. That realization, for me, made this book rather frightening. It was more compelling than frightening, though, and I NEEDED to finish it, if nothing else than to vanquish the Clare in my life. #ReadingGoals2017
This lush book is based on Russian folklore, which, if you're like me and have little to no experience with it, can be a bit disorienting. The story was weird and beautiful. The fact that at the time of the setting, anyone over the age of 30 was considered old was depressing. Also, this is the first in a series, so, yay! #ReadingGoals2017
Ove is a crotchety old shit. All he wants is some peace and quiet and to what he desperately wants to do. Life has other ideas. So much of Ove reminds me of my cranky little mother. This book made me laugh, snort, cover my eyes with dread, and cry. Oh, so much crying. I've been recommending it every day. #Readinggoals2017
The political process done right for the younger set with seriously adorable illustrations. Also, all the talk of Indian food is making me hungry. What a fun way to start #ReadingGoals2017. #ownvoices
#currentlyreading this for my 2nd new read of 2017. #libraryhaul #readinggoals2017
