I don't have a #shipinabottle Will a pirate in a coffin do?

I was a fan of Tim Powers long before the PotC movies came out. There was much discussion after the first movie about how much it resembled On Stranger Tides (on one of those old-fashioned email lists). As much as I enjoyed the movie adaptation, the book is so much better. I can't recommend it enough. Sure there's no Jack Sparrow but Powers does his research.

CrowCAH Sorry, I missed this post. Yes, Jack in a coffin works, great action figure!!! Glad to hear the book isn't so bad, the movie is okay; I'll have to read it some time. 8y

Thanks to my 6yo I have a little ship in a bottle for this prompt! So this photo is all down to my son. His book, his skeleton, his ship in a bottle! He loved this book which I read for bedtime stories over several nights - BIG PLUS Nim is a kickass girl main character.
The ship is something he spent his pocket money on in Fiji last year. He was fascinated with how it got in there!
