When I heard HBO was picking up the MaddAddam trilogy, to be directed by none other than DARREN ARONOFSKY, I almost lost my mind, in a good way. How awesome would that be! Sadly, HBO appears to have pulled the plug on the project. I really hope somebody else steps in to save this (*cough* Netflix, Amazon, come on guys *cough*) because it so #shouldbeamovie.

Inspired by Julie Andrews being on tv tonight (Mary Poppins, which is my favorite movie), I remembered this lovely book. It's my vote for #shouldbeamovie. Can you imagine the animation and special effects that could be done when creating this world? This also just moved up my reread list. #seasonsreadings2016

This absolutely #shouldbeamovie. When I saw Avatar, I remember thinking what a travesty it was that its amazing visuals were paired with such a lousy, derivative, forgettable story. This story deserves the visual treatment James Cameron wasted on Avatar. But don't let his screenwriters near the story. *shudder* #seasonsreadings2016
Sue Grafton's Kinsey Millhone "Alphabet" series #shouldbeamovie or more logically, #shouldbeaseries. I used to picture Holly Hunter as Kinsey, but now I think she's aged out of that possibility. Now I'd picture Anna Kendrick in the role. What do you think?
