Set in a small town in Colorado, Fortuna works as a waitress at a local bar. The only difference being she‘s one of the fallen; a descendent of the fallen angels and a very rare one at that. We find that she‘s been captured and put into a cage to be sold on the black market. But surprisingly, this situation has led her to being the closest she‘s ever been in 2 years to finding out what happened to her brother.

I love this book a lot and definitely cried in so many places from beginning to end. With our gang's final push towards defeating Erawan, we open up with out team stretched thing across two continents. Seeing what our characters do and how much they push to defend what they believe in against the Valg is such an amazing thing to see.

Finally got my November Bookish Box this past weekend. I loved how much SJMaas stuff there is 😍😍😍So of the artwork is a little different from what I picture people as but it‘s still really well done. Love the jewelry, pin, and the fabric items so much! Sadly I think I‘m going to have to cancel the subscription for now 😞

Sarah J. Maas did an amazing job writing this novel. It was fun, well written, intense, and just all around amazing. I loved seeing her doing something that did not involve Fae. So, this was a fun treat. Read it, you will not regret it.
