Wow. What a conclusion. This book was THICK but didn‘t feel endlessly long. I thought SJM did a very good job wrapping up such a sprawling series. And man if you think you‘re prepared emotionally you. Are. WRONG. There was one death (sort of) that absolutely destroyed me and I am still not over, long after finishing the book. Don‘t read my comment unless you‘ve also finished.

Thankful to have finally finished this series. I‘m not going to lie; I skimmed many sections. I felt it was overly long to the point of ridiculousness at almost 1000 pages. The middle of the book really dragged; I was just waiting for the battle at the end. Certain moments really shine though and the characters are wonderful. Overall this series is good, but the ACOTAR series is so much better and lives in my heart. #teamrhys

I‘m finally done with the whole series and all I can say is that it was brilliant! I loved each and every part that I read and I‘m actually sad that it‘s over! 😔

This whole series has been such a whirlwind of emotions for me, and I loved every single second of it. As thrilled as I am with that ending, I‘m super sad to see the series end! I‘ll miss this amazing cast of characters with a burning, flaming passion—especially you, Lorcan Salvaterre 😘—and I can already feel a MAJOR book hangover coming on. I think I need to sleep for a week before I can accept the fact that I finished this one 🙈

Man I miss Litsy. I have been working a ton these last few weeks. But hopefully back to reading again. Finishing up this series now.

I met this amazing Manon cosplayer at a convention, and she seemed as surprised to find someone who recognized her as I was to find a Manon cosplayer! 😆

Told my boyfriend I am absolutely loving the Throne of Glass books, he did his research on the side and realized I was missing the last book.... so he got me a signed copy!!!! I almost died 😭😍😍

I need to review the earlier books, I read them in quick succession, now I have to refresh myself on each book! Also; serious book hangover.

Satisfying ending but you'll likely be battle weary getting there. I like the characters, Manon is my favorite. I like Aelin's confidence and the fact that she is a fighter but also enjoys the finer things. I appreciate that this series actually addresses menstruation, one of the first I've read that does.

The first time I read this I sped through it so I could see what happened. The second time was more slowly, so I could savor it. I love this series so much, and the ending still makes me emotional. 💛 Shoutout to @BookFreakOut for introducing me to what‘s now one of my all time favorite series. Now on to the Court of Thorns and Roses series!

I think the last book in this series provides the ending everyone hoped for and expected.
Personally I had a few issues with the book. Repetitive writing and uniformity of the characters. All the males and females act in the same predictable way, following the same love story with only minimal variation. Even the plot twists have lost their power. In the end the book would have been better off with 400 pages rather than a thousand.

What a finale. This series has been such a ride and this finale was good. I think it was a little long and there was a lot of pairing off again. However there were sacrifices and it made me very emotional.

I finally have enough time to read this 1000 page long beast. Hope to finish before I have to go back home!

This series grew on me. There were times throughout the long journey where I rolled my eyes until they hurt, and I legit couldn‘t stand the main characters at times, but the last 3 books were intense and full of growth. I have many feelings. This was almost a 5-star read, but it got repetitive and the ending dragged. Still, I am pleased to say I love Aelin, Chaol, Dorian, and especially Manon and the witches, and I‘m sad it‘s over!

Wow what an amazing way to end this series. I really enjoyed this and never would have read it if not hearing how amazing it was. I still have two novellas t read before I am done with the series all together. Aelin and all her friends kicked ass and I am so glad they all got their happy ending!

Friday morning reading! Can't believe I only have 3 days left of my staycation!

I am going in! Little intimated by the size of it with this being the longest book that I have heard read. But I am excited to see how it all ends!

This has got to be the longest dang book. It‘s super annoying - the book has to many lulls. And I feel like Maas didn‘t want it to end and her editor didn‘t put her in check for this long damn book. #whoeditedthis

Went to the local bookstore to buy this tonight and found the hardcover on the bargain rack for just $6 - woohoo! 🥳

I finally finished my Throne of Glass series reread! Actually I finished it weeks ago, BUT I moved and it wasn‘t an easy move either. So in the process of all that I forgot to post my review.

I liked Kingdom of Ash...but I didn‘t love it. I got battle weary to be honest. Overall it was a good read, but not my favorite in the series. I loved Manon‘s storyline the most. I would love to see more of her character.

Um... So I apparently didn't notice we started a new month. 🙈 🤣 I'm just kidding. I'm just running really behind. Last month I finished the #ThroneOfGlass series while also re-reading it. I'm not really sure Kingdom of Ash is my favorite book of the series as a whole, but it's definitely my favorite book I read this month. Probably because it just wrapped up the entire series. 💜

I‘ve srt of been putting off reading this- I think I was nervousit would disappoint me. Intense battle scenes really put me on edge, and this had a lot of them... so I had to take a few breaks. In the end though, it was a satisfying conclusion to the series.

The kids are asleep and I‘m going to make the most of my evening. Its been a loooooong week, and the school year needs to end! Not pictured: a sizable glass of wine 😂

I just finished Kingdom of Ash. 🤯 🥺 😍 All the things! All the feels! This series swallowed me up whole and devoured me. I could not stop. I really tried too to make this wonderful collection of book last just a little longer. What does it have to be over?! I need more. I'm mad at you for this Maas!! 😡 Don't be a quitter! 😍 😂

So here they are in all their glory except Empire of Storms. I could not find it tonight. A hunt for tomorrow! I started this series when Throne of Glass came out in paperback. I then eagerly waited for Crown of Midnight. I ended up forgetting about the series until Heir of Fire came out in paperback. I enjoyed them all and it was a fitting end in Kingdom of Ash. If you like epic fantasy, these are for you.

Been working on this monster all day. I have not quite made it to the halfway point. I will be headed to my mom‘s tomorrow then to Dallas to see family. I won‘t get much more reading done until next week. ☹️
