So far, so good. It resembles a YA story in the first part, but I don't think it's going to stay that way. Not sure where it's headed honestly. But it's good. I'm going to finish it this week, and we'll discuss it on the podcast this weekend. The Bookish Impulses podcast.

I found the story to be interesting, suspenseful and twisty but very unusual. A stranger will greet you by name and invite you inside Slade House. At first, you won‘t want to leave. Later, you‘ll find that you can‘t. This novel will pull you into a reality-warping new vision of the haunted house story. Very atmospheric, creepy and sure to stretch your imagination. I would recommend this to those who like books that are different.

My next read is Slade House, by David Mitchell. I've wanted to read this for ages! I have a new stack of books to choose from (don't we all), and partly chose this next because it's a little shorter, and will be easier to get through whilst I'm back at university doing distance learning (whilst working full time - should be fun! 😂) I just love this cover and can't wait to get stuck in! :) #sladehouse
