3✨I found myself laughing out loud for much of this book. I felt bad for Bridget, but she also had the ability to roll with any situation. I found the men in the book to be pigs for the most part. It had a large push on the boys will be boys. While this helped the storyline it wasn‘t something I enjoyed about it. #Roll100 December. @PuddleJumper Then I found out it was a series…. Oops one more to the list #SeriesLove

Pickpick

We meet Bridget in this book widowed and in her fifties and it wasn't long until I fell into the swing of things and laughed out loud at Bridget and her continuous muddled confusion.

I really liked Roxster as a character. His and Bridget's dialogue was such a hoot, it was so visual. I hope there's more of him going forward even though I fully admit he isn't good for her.

Thanks for the tag, @Eggs ❄️
1. Addie LaRue, but I wouldn't remember her anyway.🥴
2. I love her like an old friend. But from the last book I read, tagged, Bridget Jones made me crazy.
3. Litsy and the littens💗

Eggs I see what you did there #1 👍🏼😆😂 2y

This one was just so-so for me. Maybe the movie is better? I‘ll have to watch it and see. 📚 My #bookspin pick. @TheAromaofBooks

Catherine_Willoughby I have this audio format too. Different narrator. sounds good. binged all three movies on Sunday . Just finished Pride and Prejudice - Mr Darcy 3y
TheAromaofBooks Woohoo!! 3y
EclecticBookLover Love the movie, couldn't stand the book. 2&3 movies are okay, but 1 is definitely the best. In the book Bridget came off as whiny and it was irritating. Some how the in the movie that aspect came across differently for me. 3y

NikkiM5 Loved the movie. Can‘t wait to hear what you think of it. 3y
Lyssa131330 This is one of the only books where I thought the movie is better 3y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick This is one of the instances where the movie is better than the movie. I thought audio would help my enjoyment of book two, and it was worse. 3y

Day 11 of @Andrew65 's #Top20series #20series20days challenge

Even though the baby book isn't in the canon of the series as it was written for the movie it is still a good addition to the series.

Cathythoughts I loved the movies ❤️. Never thought of reading the books though , must have a look. 👍🏻 4y
Andrew65 Can‘t beat a good romcom! 4y
rubyslippersreads @Cathythoughts The first book is one of my favorite “comfort” books. 4y

This was such a fun read! Very sexy... And then of course ended sweetly and perfectly, while also dealing with real issues and emotional growth. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'm so confused. Is this Bridget Jones's blunder, repeatedly calling Chekhov the author of Hedda Gabler and calling him Norwegian, or is it Helen Fielding's error that no editor picked up? Maybe I'll find out later?

Clare-Dragonfly And “Gabler” is spelled wrong. It‘s so grotesque, it has to be on purpose, right?! 4y
MommyWantsToReadHerBook @Clare-Dragonfly I think so? I hope so? 4y

I read the Bridget Jones series and watched the movies, and liked them. This book takes years after The Edge of Reason, and tragedy has struck Bridget. I will say...I didn't enjoy this book like I did the others. The scenes with her kids were really cute and so Bridget 😄 HOWEVER, this wasn't so engrossing that I couldn't put it down.
