Reading this delightful book at a heavenly spa in Santa Fe. I‘m reading and listening to the audio version. Warner‘s language is lovely, and the narrator of the audio is excellent.

While chasing a stolen treasure map, he winds up traveling the world and beyond, meeting the kookiest characters. It even ends with the coolest twist! Why haven‘t I read more of the 90 books written by this clever Italian author and cartoonist? And to think of all those boring summer essays I turned in when I was a kid! 😁

Catching up on some middle school reading. It‘s been 4 whole weeks since I‘ve been in the classroom with my 6th graders. Supposed to be 4 more here in NC. I have a feeling it‘s going to be a lot longer than that 😢.

I enjoyed this book very much(pub.2015). I like the way the story was written and the illustrations throughout. I think this fit into the family story category.
I really enjoyed how the book started off with a letter from the child's grandpa. It was a great way to get things started, but I also think that this book is an awesome way to get kids excited and curious about the summer or school breaks.
