Waiting to pick up Sir Betrothed from work, so I decided to take the extra time & start reading The Broken Girls. Alternates between 1950 & ~2012 Vermont & it‘s a supernatural story about a haunted boarding house that was originally built for troubled young girls.
I‘m hoping this will scratch my supernatural suspense itch that I‘ve had going. 🙂

pickIt was slow going at first, but then it took a turn for the better and I was hooked. I loved the characters, I felt like some of the reveals were surprises and even though supernatural stuff is not my thing I appreciated it in this story too!
