Yet another one between "like and so-so". I appreciate rough and honest descriptions about friendships, but huge "don't like" for repetitive dynamic between Lenu and Lila through the all four books.

Clever and bitter sweet story about Ludovica (she literally bricks herself) and some others heroes. Their lives and stories eventually collide and intersect in the 'grande finale' in almost comical (satirical) way. Worth to try.

5th (for me) from The Man Booker international prize.

Between like and so so. I liked it, because beauty of the story lies in its simplicity and overall atmosphere- solitude and silence, with poetic description of mountains and nature. So so- because of just interesting read, not special.

1st line and 4th book (for me) from The Man Booker International Prize.

I'm between like and so so. I liked it because of the story (plot is about Mevlut, his inner life and his relation with Instabul), which is slow and rich, captures period of last 50 years and we get glimpse into some historical and social events. So-so, because the end didn't work for me.

1st line... and third book (for me) from The Man Booker International Prize.

Story explore human relations and how morality collapse in extreme, horror circumstances. It is written in satirical style and isn't fun or pleasurable read, but for me was worth to read this book.
