Marcus Borg's writing always inspires me. This one is more personal than his other books so I'm excited to read it. I've also heard great things about The Hiding Place.

The Abominable is also TBR and there is a monster in it, I think.

I'm debating on buying a copy or just getting the audio version from Hoopla. Probably will go with the Hoopla copy, but wish I could read it myself as opposed to audio. 8y

I was introduced to Dr. Hannibal Lecter by the Silence of the Lambs movie, but I know the horror began at The Red Dragon, though he was only featured for a short while in the book. #LyricalApril #TheMonster Multitasking-reading & recovering in front of the aircon after vacuuming (did I mention it's humid today?!)😅 & picking books for today's musical prompt. It occurred to me that two of my current reads feature 'monsters.' Mongrels is a family of werewolves & Jackaby (my current audiobook) is also full of them. I'm enjoying both of these stories & the resulting voices inside of my head. 😱📚(Playing with pic filters too!)😆
