This book was incredibly moving, I literally sobbed through the last two chapters. There isn‘t anything I didn‘t like about it. Never, at any point did I feel bored, or like the story was lagging. This book is beyond beautiful and brilliantly written. If you‘re a lover of historical fiction novels, this is YOUR book! The story is heartbreakingly heavy, but worth it! It‘s definitely one that will stay with you forever. #thenightingale

If you love historical fiction set during the Holocaust, this is a must read. Beautifully written that makes you connect with the characters which pulls at your heart strings. .

My September reads. I honestly loved all of them but I‘m really excited for the new series books like A Curse So Dark and Lonely, A Court of Thorns and Roses and The Black Witch. Oh dear god, I‘m still sniffling. A few lengths at the beginning and a bit short at the end, but The Nightingale is definitely a must-read. It tells the story of two very different sisters trying to survive WWII in France with courage and heart. I‘m drawn to WWII stories and this book may be one of the best about that period.
