Very beautifully-written. I'm looking forward to re-reading this one at some point.

“The practice is to transform yourself. If you don‘t have garbage, you have nothing to use in order to make compost. And if you have no compost, you have nothing to nourish the flower in you. You need the suffering, the afflictions in you. Since they are organic, you know that you can transform them and make good use of them.” 🗑️ ➡️ 🪷
Saturday evening meditation
Read this back in April. This was the 4th #Spanishbook I've read so far. It wasn't completely new to me though because I read the English version a couple years ago, and loved it so much that I gave it away, but continued to collect more from Thich Nhat Hanh's 'How To' series. Full of simple but very helpful insights on the role that anger plays in our lives, and how we can transform it to be happier. Good for readers interested in mindfulness 😌
📖 Currently reading this lovely book. It‘s enlightening and insightful. You can never go wrong with Thich Nhat Hanh. If you haven‘t read any of his books, I would absolutely recommend.
Also, while it‘s not related at all. Today is day 25 of #100daysofhalloweenhappy with Fav blanket and this is my fav blanket. It‘s very old, but I love it just the same 😂

I found out that Thich Nhat Hanh passed away recently and feel really sad about it - he was absolutely brilliant and this book of his is probably the most influential (on me at least) of all the books I've ever read. I wanted to share💛
