A day late on my #5JoysFriday post but the work week was crazy & I had 3 days of peopling ending in a large 1.5 days HR conference. Last night I just crashed & slept, so here we go.

1-2. Fall themed snacks not involving pumpkin spice bring me joy. Both the Brown Butter Sage & Stuffing Popcorn from Target are joyfully addicting & apple cider & Starbucks apple crisp oatmilk latte make me happy.

2. I used Barnes & Noble GC & rewards points to ⬇️

💛 Last weekend I got to watch my nephew play in his senior Homecoming game!
💛 It was also the annual fall festival in my hometown with lots of fun festival food, including the pineapple whip in the photo.
💛 Mums and pumpkins and beautiful weather to enjoy it all
💛 Getting a step closer to adding high school math to my teaching certification

We just dropped my son off at the airport 😢, so I really need to reflect on joys right now!
1. My son was here from Oregon all week!!
2. We got to spend time with family and visit an awesome museum and historical home.
3. I had a delicious brown sugar iced coffee in downtown Houston!
4. My aunt had us over for gumbo and she‘s an excellent cook!
5. I was gifted a What We Do in the Shadows bag!

Feeling very blue this morning when I woke up today-not my usual self-change of seasons? Busy week at work-parent conferences Wed & Thursday-Thursday until 7:00 pm. Low energy. Not sure why. Barely read this week-nothing felt quite right. So, this look back for #5JoysFriday helped my perspective & mood tremendously.
