A day late for #5JoysFriday & another not great week but here goes…

1 -2. Sunset out the airplane window brings me joy, plus getting upgraded & uninterrupted reading time. Probably my most joyful moment on the plane was it was about 30 min delayed leaving Hilo & the pilot got on the radio & apologized and said “Folks, we‘re going to fly it like we stole it and get you there as soon as possible.” It cracked me up & laughter is joy!🤣💛

It was a lovely week with lovely joys:

1. A whole day with my bestie and my aunt in lovely Basel 😍
2. @VaniBarelyReads made dinner for me. Lovely pasta, yum 💖
3. #TinyCarFamily grew again 🛻
4. I received your lovely package, @iread2much 💖 Thank you so much for everything 💖
5. Had a lovely Friday evening at an event hosted by our new Literature Club in town 📚

1. Getting back into the above book. Hello escapism.
2. Practical Magic 2 has wrapped filming and most of the original cast are in it.
3. It's just a little Hocus Pocus! Watched this earlier in the evening.
4. Going garage sailing tomorrow.
5. An slowly getting back into eat more plant based.
Bonus! Running swaps and doing reading challenges is keeping me sane.

Stressful week, so I just had to look for my joys today and I found a lot! With a sweet kitty on my lap all is well.

💛 The pets, including a very happy, running beagle
💛 A rainy Thursday as it‘s been very dry
