Me and Worf's mum sharing a cup of tea in the same glass 🍵🖖😊 (though hers was lapsang souchong from a replicator and mine was cinnamon and plum from a pot 🫖).
Worf's having family problems with his son, Alexander, this episode, and the subplot with the soliton wave propulsion system seems like an ill-conceived technology!
This was a very fun inside look into the world of TV fashion!
The book showcases a wide range of television shows, spanning all decades and genres. It is divided into different chapters based on style (ex. period shows, working women, and glamour to name a few). This organizational method worked so well (way better than it would be if it were chronological).

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was very fun. Mostly lighthearted behind the scenes stories of the creation of the show, casting, and production, including lots of quotes and interviews from cast and crew. Mostly admiring, but also covered issues like the low retention of women writers. Enjoyable listen!
Being a Whovian is such a niche thing here in the US. Even more so for my age group I suppose. So not book related but who watched this?! I cried sad tears and happy tears. My heart basically exploded. RTD is back baby!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An impeccably-researched oral history of one of the greatest sitcoms of all time. Sadly, husband and I never finished the last couple of seasons (kids truly ruin tv time). I will hopefully remedy this soon! From casting, to character quirks, to contract negotiations and so on, this well laid out account covers it all. While the actors do not narrate, the full-cast audio crew did a fab job bringing this to life.

Trying out my first bingo/readathon! In honor of the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who, let‘s read books related to the Christmas specials! See her page for what the prompts mean!
You can also use this board twice and cross off the episodes as you watch them! (Coming to Disney+ at the end of November)
Starting December 1 for #WinterGames #DoctorWhoBingo
I have to admit, I only recently watched this show. I was busy with life when it originally aired, but I have now binged all seasons and needed more. 😁
This book is written in interview style, which I personally loved. It gives so much information on how the show came together, the writers, the actors, and even the struggles.
It was fun to revisit one of my favorite sitcoms and all those who made it great.
