1. Dune - after spanning 10,000 years of human history (future?) Book 6 ends on the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers and Book 7 never gets made (not by Frank Herbert, anyway).
2. Harry Potter- read the entire series to my daughter when she was 4/5. Some of my happiest memories are from that time.
3. Slaughterhouse Five - my favorite book. Wish I could reread it for the first time again.
451Degrees I definitely have books that I wish I could reread for the first time again!😩 That could definitely be a superhero option! obviateit Oof, I was just thinking recently that I should read the rest of the Dune series! I stopped after the first book. Maybe not, now. 😆 3y
The_Penniless_Author @obviateit No, you should definitely still do it. In a weird way the cliffhanger might be a better ending than anything Frank Herbert could have come up with. I hate when authors purposely leave things vague because they don't know how to wrap up their narrative threads, but sometimes when you're dealing with these huge, existential questions, a little mystery is a good thing. 3y
