Rorschach's Bean Juice: Break into Nite Owl's place (Not hard, cheap lock.) Get hungry, open can. No need to heat. ⠀
⠀
The HBO series inspired me to re-read this again. (That show is bonkers, but I'm loving it.) Usually, I prefer graphic novels in print, but I've been enjoying this one on Hoopla. Reading it by pane really gives me an appreciation for Dave Gibbons' artwork.⠀

This is the perfect book for #pumpkinspiceeverything season. It is best read while wearing a cozy flannel and puffy vest. My only criticism is there was no Cider Donut Station (Maybe in a sequel? 🤞) As a librarian, I love how I can recommend this book to both adults and younger readers.

Definitely different than The Handmaid's Tale, but we're living in different time. The Handmaid's Tale is a warning, a claustrophobic prison. The Testaments is hope, a daring escape.

Is there anything more Midwestern than Tater Tot casserole? If I brought a friend over to visit my grandma, this was her go-to meal to serve. It is comfort food in its purest form. ⠀

BarbaraJean I grew up on Tater Tot Casserole...but I‘m from California! Maybe the recipe came from my grandma, who grew up in Indiana?! 5y

I had high hopes for this one, but it just wasn‘t my cup of sweet tea. Also, it could have benefited from a sensitivity reader. I could write a 3-5 page paper on all the racial stereotypes.

Gotta love a book that starts out with a Buffy reference. Like the show, “I Like to Watch” by Emily Nussbaum is deeper than it first appears.

Great title for people who find KondoMarie overwhelming. (No, I will not be talking to my socks, thankyouverymuch.) Love that it addresses digital clutter.
