so-soI will say this, the ending of this book saved it for me. The first half of it was so slow. I understand its setting everything up but man for a race where people try to take you out there wasnt much action at first. That ending though. I was expecting the typical she would start second guessing herself but she did not in the slightest. I am definitely going to carry on with the series its just not that high up on my list.

pickKendare Blake is my freaking queen! With that said this book was pretty slow throughout it but it was a great first book for a series. The world building was done beautifully and the magic system is amazing and i love the characters! (Even the one i really wanted to punch and if you have read it you know who i am talking about) 4 out of 5 stars.

panI was so excited to read this when I first heard about on epic reads tea time. The premise was so interesting and intriguing. However when I actually read it, the story was a let down. The pacing was weird and the main character was making the most horrible decisions for someone who was in her situation. She annoyed me so bad.

Need to jump on this quick before I have to return it! I decided, after years of putting it off to start the Dark Hunter Series By Sherrilyn Kenyon. Im on the second book and so far its ok. Not a masterpiece but still entertaining.
I love Anne Rice books so much! Taking into consideration this my first audiobook ever, it took a little while for me to get into it. The beginning just dragged a little much for me. Its picked up quite a bit now so hopefully i can finish listening to it this weekend and give my full thoughts.
