Reading this book so close to the Provo River that I can hear it rushing. "We shall not cease from exploring/And the end of all our exploring/Will be to arrive where we started/And know the place for the first time."
I'm so excited to start this book! #MyWeekendIsBooked
@AmyG Thanks for this awesome giveaway! I'd love to win Sing, Unburied, Sing! I've heard it's SO good! #1234orall
"My Papa, his thick hands and thick shoes, who wakes up tired in the dark, who combs his hair with water, drinks his coffee, and is gone before we wake, today is sitting on my bed. And I think if my own Papa died what would I do. I hold my Papa in my arms. I hold and hold and hold him."
I just checked out The House On Mango Street! I'm only 10 pages in, and it's amazing! 😍 #LitsyLibrarian
This is a kind of weird and totally enjoyable story about family, grief, and baking cakes shaped like rabbits. I loved how genuine Hartnett's characters feel as well as her heart wrenching look at the crazy things grief can make us do. This is a fantastic book.
