pickAn extremely well done horror novel about a daughters return to her childhood home to care for her elderly sick mother. The audiobook was so vividly narrated I had to pause and take long deep breaths to get my heart to stop pounding out of my chest several times.

pickThe September House has it all. A sweet old lady of a main character that you can‘t help but love. A haunted house with bleeding walls and ghostly inhabitants wearing the gore of their demise. Banter between characters that will make you laugh out loud. Twists and turns around every corner that will leave you at the edge of your seat until the very last page. Overall a fantastic read!

Have you ever been watching a movie and witnessed every single character make the worst decision at every move possible leaving you yelling at screen? This was that in book form. I found myself frustrated with everyone involved in this plot. On a positive note, as always, McFadden delivers a truly unsuspecting twist at the end that brought my rating up
pickThis thriller had it all. Affairs. Kidnapping. Murder for hire. Spicy scenes. Plot twists. As a wife and a mother, reading this pulled so many emotions out of me as the story unraveled. Tears were actually shed. Loved this book!
so-soThis was one of my most anticipated new title releases for spooky season as I have loved Nick Cutters previous horror themed novels. I found myself disappointed to have a story unfold that was all too similar to the synopsis of The Shining and Amityville Horror. A misogynist husband and his family move into a haunted house, and his actions get increasingly more volatile. As a positive point, the gore scenes delivered some perfectly awful imagery
