A fast-paced, twisty novel that I read in two days. Great psychological thriller that reads sort of like a diary. This book captured my attention and held it throughout the story. Recommended if you like domestic thrillers.

This is an easy book to get into. After the first bit, it seemed like it was getting too predictable. I hadn't read any of the reviews, just knew it had a super high review rating. So, was pleasantly surprised to see that the ending was not what I was expecting. Realistic? Nope. Not in the least! But I'm a sucker for exactly what went down at the end. Can't help it. Also, I'm wondering if the next book will be worth reading. Curious about Millie..

I didn't think it was possible, but this one was even better than the first! I don't even try to figure out her books anymore, I just enjoy the ride, and what a crazy one this was! There's no way I could have seen that ending coming! Loved it!

Well this was.....something. Very similar to the book The Last Mrs. Parrish. I read this as a traveling book so the fun part was seeing everyone's reactions to the over the top, shocking behavior.

This was a very creepy psychological thriller which definitely had a few twists, it fell between pick and so-so, even though it wasn‘t perfect it kept you reading to find out what happens so landed on pick for me. I finished this one book for #novelnovember
Been a very emotional week a dear book club friend passed away😢

I was looking for something light to distract me, which this did. It was a low pick. The setup was unlikely and unbelievable, though fun enough that I wasn‘t tempted to bail. The major twist was something I totally did not see coming, and it made the setup an order of magnitude more unlikely and unbelievable. But it also made everything more sympathetic and likable. The ending was way too pat for me, which makes me disinclined to read the sequel.

This was a great thriller! The ending was one of my favorites. Can't wait to read the second book. Both are in #KindleUnlimited for anyone who has the #ku subscription.

This book has to be one of the best psychological thrillers I have read since Verity. There were so many twists and turns throughout it. I binged this book in one day and can‘t wait for the sequel. Freida McFadden did a spectacular job writing this book.

I heard many things about this book and decided to give it a go. The quote on the cover is enticingly creepy enough!

Great read for spooky season. Millie just was released from prison and needs a job. Nina hires her to take care of her household. Crazy circle of events leads to an attic that has a story of its own. 🤫

Almost done with this wild ride!! I‘ll definitely be reading her others!

Another great read by Freida McFadden!! Some parts were a bit on the predictable side, but overall very twisty and it keeps you engaged from start to finish!

Everyone that has read this has said once you start you can‘t put it down and it is very creepy. Have to give it a try.

Picked this up the other day on Audible, it was a daily deal. A bit ludicrous but…kept me engaged for the first half of my international flight. Entertaining thriller. Millie is hired as a housekeeper for a young wealthy couple but right from the start she senses something isn‘t right.

Such a fun thriller! 🤩 I recommended that we buy this book to circ at the library, and not only does it have a ton of holds, but it is totally worth the purchase.

I couldn‘t put this down. This is the first book that I read by this author and I definitely will be downloading everything I can get my hands on by her now ASAP. Just when you think you know what‘s going on and what‘s going to happen, everything changes with this one. I loved the characters and that ending was just perfect. Can‘t wait to read more by this author!

This one should make up for the last few that I didn‘t enjoy .. 🙈🤞🏻

Chose this book for hosting my very first book club and we are all loving it! 9/10! Very twisty thriller that lets you fly through the pages. If you liked Verity, you will like this. A lot.
